Our Sound Design Story

We've been crafting immersive mobile game audio experiences since 2022, turning creative passion into professional expertise through hands-on education.

How We Started Creating Audio Magic

Back in early 2022, we were just three game audio enthusiasts working late nights in a small Zagreb studio. Our founder had spent years creating sound effects for indie mobile games, but noticed something troubling – most aspiring sound designers learned theory without ever touching real game projects.

That's when we decided to change things. Instead of traditional classroom lectures, we built our entire approach around actual mobile game development. Students work on real projects from day one, learning to create everything from subtle UI sounds to epic boss battle themes.

Now we're based in Kutina, and we've helped over 200 students discover their audio design potential through practical, project-based learning that mirrors real industry workflows.

What Makes Our Approach Different

We focus on practical skills that actually matter in today's mobile gaming industry. Our curriculum evolves with technology, but our core principle stays the same – learn by doing.

Real Project Experience

Students don't just study sound design – they create complete audio packages for actual mobile games. From initial concept to final implementation, you'll experience the full development cycle working with game developers and publishers.

Industry-Standard Tools

We teach using the same software and workflows you'll encounter in professional studios. Wwise, FMOD, Unity Audio Mixer – all the tools that game studios rely on for creating compelling mobile game soundscapes.

Mobile-First Design Philosophy

Mobile games have unique audio constraints and opportunities. We specialize in teaching techniques that work within limited file sizes while creating maximum emotional impact on smartphone speakers and headphones.

Croatian Gaming Scene Connection

Our location gives us direct access to Croatia's growing game development community. Students often work on projects with local studios, creating networking opportunities that extend beyond graduation.

With a background in both music production and software engineering, Marko teaches the technical side of game audio implementation. He's contributed to over 15 published mobile games and understands both creative and technical challenges.

Our Learning Philosophy in Action

We believe the best way to learn sound design is by solving real problems. Here's how we structure the learning experience to build both technical skills and creative confidence.

1

Foundation Through Play

Students start by analyzing their favorite mobile games, identifying what makes certain sounds memorable. This builds critical listening skills before diving into creation tools.

2

Hands-On Tool Mastery

We introduce professional software through small, achievable projects. Students create their first sound effects within the first week, building confidence alongside technical knowledge.

3

Collaborative Game Projects

Working in small teams, students take on real mobile game audio challenges. They learn to balance creative vision with technical limitations and client feedback.

4

Professional Portfolio Development

Final projects become portfolio pieces that demonstrate real-world problem-solving abilities. Students graduate with work that showcases both creativity and professional competence.

Building Croatia's Audio Design Future

We're passionate about developing local talent that can compete on the global stage. Croatia's game development scene is growing rapidly, but there's still a shortage of skilled audio professionals who understand mobile game constraints.

Our vision goes beyond individual student success. We want to establish Croatia as a recognized hub for mobile game audio expertise. That means connecting our graduates with opportunities, fostering ongoing professional development, and continuously updating our curriculum based on industry evolution.
